Andre Smith Signs

The Cincinnati Bengals and 1st round pick (6th overall) Andre Smith have agreed to undisclosed terms. The team flew the offensive lineman into town today with expectations to sign him and get him on the field by the 3 p.m. practice. With Smith's signing, this leaves only Michael Crabtree (S.F. 49ers 1st round pick) unsigned. How does this effect the Bengals roster? The Bengals will probably use the two week exemption, which means he can practice but not play in a game. This includes Thursday night's preseason game against the Colts and the regular season opener against Denver.

  1. Its about time they signed him. We will need his help protecting Palmer. However, I disagree with the holdout and think rookies need to prove themselves.... by the way Michael Crabtree = waste of time! Peace out bum! The NFL doesn't need you, the San Francisco 49ers doesn't need you. Go play in Canada. NFL: boycott Crabtree!!!

  2. See what holding out did? Now he is injured. Instead of training and practicing like he should've been, he decided to hold out for money that HE SHOULD HAVE TO EARN and is now injured. Way to go Andre!
